About DocuGrip
A PDF toolkit built on a simple idea: most of this work does not need a server at all.
What we build
DocuGrip is a set of tools for the everyday work people do with PDF files — merging, splitting, rotating, converting, signing, protecting. 118 of them, in one place.
The goal is not to have the longest list. It is that when you arrive with a file and a problem, the thing you need is one click away and it works the first time.
Why it never transmits your document
Most PDF sites upload your file, do the work on their machine, and hand it back. That is one design. Ours is different: the tools never transmit your file. The work is done where the file already is, and we never receive a copy.
This is not a marketing line, it is an architecture. It means we cannot read your documents even if we wanted to, and it means a tool keeps working on a bad connection.
The one feature that stores a document is a signature request you send to other people. The file is encrypted before it is sent, and the encrypted copy is deleted 30 days after the request is completed, declined or expires, or as soon as you cancel it.
What we do not do
We do not claim certifications we do not hold. Our security page says plainly which audits we have not done.
We do not print invented numbers. Other sites advertise billions of files processed; we have no such history, and a number we cannot stand behind is the most expensive kind of lie.
We do not put a watermark on your work and then sell you its removal.
