Documents are processed without ever reaching our infrastructure, which keeps our marginal cost per document near zero. That is what makes a free allowance possible at all — a limited number of runs a day without an account, more with one, and no watermark on anything you produce. It is an allowance for evaluating the platform, not a business model. Paid plans lift that cap; Team spreads one plan across a desk.

No trial that turns into a charge
We never ask for a card to try something. Nothing is billed unless you choose a plan and pay for it.
Passes end on their own
Day and week passes do not renew. There is nothing to remember to cancel.
A reminder before renewals
Yearly plans get an email 30 days before they renew, and monthly plans a yearly reminder. You can cancel from your account at any time — no phone call, no form.
No paywall after the work is done
If a run is within your allowance, the result is yours. We never process a file and then ask you to pay to download it.
No watermark, no size tier
Nothing is stamped on your documents on any plan, and there is no separate limit on file size.
Your files stay yours
Tools that take a file never send it to us. Signature requests are the one exception: they keep an encrypted copy until the request is finished.

- Do I need an account to use the free tools?
- No — every tool works without signing up, on a daily allowance. An account raises that allowance and keeps your plan and invoices in one place. It is a way to get more, not a gate in front of what you already have.
- What happens to my files?
- Every tool runs without transmitting your document, so your file is never sent anywhere. There is no copy to delete, because there was never a copy.
- Does the day pass renew automatically?
- No. Day and week passes are one-time charges. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
- Can I use this for work?
- Yes. There is no separate license for commercial use — the same plans cover personal and business work.
- How do I cancel a subscription?
- From your account, any time — or at link.com, where your order lives. No email or call needed. The plan stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing is charged after that.
- Will I be reminded before a plan renews?
- Yes. A yearly plan gets an email 30 days before it renews, with the date and the amount. A monthly plan gets the same reminder once a year.
- Can I get a refund?
- In full if a tool failed on your file and we could not fix it, if you were charged twice or after canceling, or within 30 days of buying a lifetime license or a team's first yearly plan. In the EU and the UK you can also withdraw within 14 days. The refunds page has the details.
- What will my bank statement say?
- LINK.COM* DOCUGRIP. Link is the Stripe service that sells DocuGrip plans as the seller of record, so the receipt comes from Link as well.
