Questions about Sign PDF
- Is a signature made here legally valid?
- In many places an electronic signature is valid for ordinary agreements, and this produces one. But be clear about what it is: a signature placed on a document. It is not a certified signing service with identity verification and a tamper-evident audit trail, so if your signature might be formally challenged, use a service built for that.
- Can someone remove my signature afterwards?
- It is drawn into the page content rather than added as a removable annotation, so it will not simply peel off. If you want it locked down further, flatten the file afterwards.
- Does my contract get uploaded?
- No. The document is opened, signed and saved without ever being transmitted. There is no copy of your contract on any server here, because it never reached one.
