Team accounts work: you create a team, invite people and manage seats. Here is what a team can already do without one, and what a team plan adds.

What already works for a team
Nobody needs an account to use the tools: everyone on a team can open any tool and use it right away, within the daily allowance.
A team plan lifts that cap for everyone at once and is priced per seat. Either way the tools never transmit documents, so nothing your team runs through them passes through shared infrastructure. Signature requests are the one exception: they keep an encrypted copy until the request is finished.
What a team plan would add
Creating a team, seats, invites and roles all work today. Shared templates, a brand kit for generated documents, and a place to keep the settings a team agrees on are not written yet.
Administration and audit trails belong to that same layer.
