Questions about PDF to SVG
- Why convert a PDF to SVG instead of PNG?
- An SVG keeps shapes as vectors, so a logo or chart can be scaled up to a poster or down to an icon without blurring. A PNG is a fixed grid of pixels that goes soft when enlarged.
- Is the text still editable?
- Yes. Text comes out as real text elements that can be selected and edited. Fonts are not embedded, so install the same font or choose a replacement in your editor.
- What is left out?
- Raster images inside the page are not included, and the tool tells you so. Vector paths, fills, strokes and text are converted, which covers most logos, diagrams and charts.
