How to delete pages from a PDF
A fax cover sheet, the blank back of every scanned page, an internal note that must not reach the client: most PDFs that need sending have at least one page that should not be there. Removing pages takes seconds. Knowing what removal does and does not protect you from takes a minute more.

How to delete pages from a PDF, step by step
You describe what goes, not what stays; every other page keeps its original order.
- Open Remove Pages and add the PDF.
- Type the pages to delete, such as 1, 4-6.
- Run the tool and download the result.
- Check the page count before sending the file on.
Your original file is not changed, so if you delete the wrong page, simply start again from the original.
Removing blank pages automatically
Double-sided scans of single-sided documents leave a blank page after every real one. Instead of hunting through a long scan by hand, Remove blank pages finds pages with no meaningful content and drops them in one go.
Keeping only some pages instead
When you need three pages out of fifty, typing the forty-seven to delete is the long way round. Extract Pages does the opposite job: type the pages you want and get a new PDF containing only those, in that order.
What deleting a page does not do
Removing a page removes that page from the document. It does not remove the same information if it also appears elsewhere — in a summary on page one, in the document properties, or in a bookmark title. When the goal is to keep specific information out of a file, use Redact PDF on the pages that remain and check the result with Check a redaction.
