How to do it

  1. 1

    Add your file

Add a CSV where each row is one line item. Rows that share an invoice number are grouped into the same invoice, so a client with four items is four rows and one document.

  2. 2

Set it up the way you want

Set the defaults that apply to the whole batch — your company details, the tax rate, the currency. Anything a row specifies wins over the default.

  3. 3

    Download the result

Download the batch. You get one PDF per invoice plus a report listing every invoice and its total, so you can tie the batch back to your books.

Questions about Bulk invoices

What happens to a row it cannot read?
It is left out and listed in the report by row number, with the reason. Nothing is silently dropped, because an invoice that quietly failed to generate is one you will not chase and will not get paid for.
My CSV has strange characters in it.
The file has to be UTF-8. If it is not, the tool says so plainly rather than producing invoices with mangled names — a wrong client name on a bill is worse than a clear error.
How many invoices can I make at once?
Measured: fifty invoices took under a second. The limit is your own device, not a plan tier, because nothing is processed on a server we have to pay for.
