How to delete your account
You can close your account yourself at any time, and deletion takes effect immediately. There is no form to fill in and no email to wait for.

Delete your account
Deletion cannot be undone, so download your data first if you might want it.
- Sign in and open your account page.
- Go to Security and choose the option to delete the account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then confirm the deletion.
Two things that have to happen first
Deletion is blocked in two situations, both to protect you and other people.
- A subscription that will renew. Cancel it first in the billing portal; otherwise the payment provider would keep charging an account that no longer exists.
- A team you own that still has other members. Removing your account would remove their shared workspace too, so transfer or close the team first.
What is removed
Your account, sign-in identities, plan records and usage counters are deleted. Documents are not part of this, because documents processed by the tools are never transmitted to us in the first place.
Invoices and payment records required by tax law are kept by Stripe, the seller of record, for the period that law requires.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Signing in again with the same email address creates a new, empty account.
