Unlock a PDF you have the password for
Unlocking creates an unprotected copy; the original file is left as it is.
- Open Unlock PDF and add the protected file.
- Enter the password.
- Download the unlocked copy and use it with any other tool.
Lock the result again
If the document should stay protected after you have merged, compressed or edited it, run Protect PDF on the finished file and set a password.
If you do not have the password
DocuGrip does not try to break or guess passwords you do not have. Ask the person who sent the file for the password or for an unprotected copy.
