How to do it

Add the e-invoice you received: the XML file (XRechnung, Peppol, UBL or CII), or a ZUGFeRD / Factur-X PDF that carries the XML inside.

Questions about E-invoice to PDF
- Does this check whether the e-invoice is valid?
- No. It shows what the file says. Whether an XRechnung passes the official rules is checked with the validator your recipient or software uses. The copy only flags one thing: item amounts that do not add up to the stated sum.
- Which formats can it read?
- XRechnung in both syntaxes (UBL and CII), Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, EN 16931 UBL invoices and credit notes, and ZUGFeRD 2 / Factur-X, either as XML or as the PDF with the XML attached.
- Is the PDF copy the invoice?
- Keep the original file too. For an e-invoice, the structured data is what accounting software reads; the copy is for people to read, check and approve.
