Service agreement template
A service agreement works for almost any business that provides a service — repairs, maintenance, IT support, landscaping, coaching. It describes the service and the standard it is done to, the price, how long the agreement runs, and how either side can end it.
This template is a general starting point, not legal advice. Laws differ between countries and states, so have it checked before signing anything important.

Describe the service so it can be checked
A good service description lets either side tell whether a visit was done right.
- Say how often and when, not just what.
- State a response time for call-out services.
- If the agreement renews automatically, say so clearly and give the notice period. Some states have extra rules for automatic renewals.
