How to do it
Add your file
Add the PDF with the text you need to change. This works on text that is really text — if you cannot select it in a reader, run OCR first.
Set it up the way you want
Pick the text you want to replace and type the new wording — or find a word and use Replace all to change it everywhere at once, such as a date or a company name. Keep it a similar length: a PDF has no reflow, so a much longer replacement has nowhere to go.
Download the result
Download the corrected file. The change is written into the page itself, not layered on top.

- Why can I not rewrite a whole paragraph?
- Because a PDF is not a word processor. It stores each piece of text at a fixed position with no notion of paragraphs, so nothing reflows around an edit. This is right for fixing a date, a price or a misspelled name, and wrong for rewriting a page — for that, convert to Word.
- Will the font match?
- It reuses the font already embedded in the document where it can. If the original font does not contain a character you typed — an accented letter it was subset without — that character cannot be drawn with it, and the tool will tell you rather than substituting silently.
- Is my document uploaded?
- No. The edit is applied without transmitting the document and saved straight back to you.
