Before you upload to IRCC
- Each document field keeps one file. Merge the pages that belong together first, then compress the result.
- Some forms allow only 2 MB. If the upload screen says so, change the target to 1.8.
- Heavy files are almost always scans or phone photos. Compressing shrinks the images; the text stays readable.
